Description
The Zdirect is a high-quality passive interface that allows you to connect musical instruments, line, or speaker-level signals to a mixer or another device with a balanced input through a high-performance isolation transformer. The high-impedance single-ended 1/4″ input is transformed by the transformer into a low-impedance isolated balanced signal source. The sound transformer of the Zdirect has an extremely linear frequency response and can handle high-level signals while maintaining a low-impedance isolated balanced output. This gives the Zdirect a very clean and neutral sound during prolonged operation in challenging environments with high noise and intensity. The input attenuator is switchable, allowing the Zdirect to handle a wide range of signals to be connected to our chain. The Ground Lift switch allows you to completely separate the grounds of the input and output signals when needed, isolating two systems and minimizing hum and ground-loop noise.
